You will be undertaking individual assessments of need, initial assessments and recommend and develop appropriate targeted interventions that meet the needs of children, young people and their families.
Looked After Children - The job is to assess the quality of care, gain feedback from the child in care, respond to feedback appropriately, create care plans, work with parents and arrange rehabilitation where possible, collaborate with health and education agencies and give support to carers such as foster parents.

You will be in the role of Residential Childcare Worker in a home (Orchard House) that offers long-term and short-term placements for young people aged 11 – 18 years with complex needs and behaviours.

You will manage challenging behaviours safely in a way that protects and maintains the rights of the clients.
You will assess need, plan and implement individual programmes of work which contribute to care plans. You will work efficiently and reliably with those who have parental responsibility and other agencies
including: parents, Education, Police, Courts and Health.
Experience in a similar environment or prison would be an advantage, but is not neccessary. Shift work required.
